Also, side note, my scouts found this interesting player that I hadn't heard of before: Walter Gonázalez, striker from Paraguay. Looks very intriguing and cheap although I have no room to sign him ATM. If someone does, please let me know how he does. And no, if you're playing with Juve I doubt he is for you.
Have a look at a Venezuelan goalkeeper called Wuilker Fariñez. Might be good for your save. Pun intended.

Thanks! He does look worse than what I have though. I splashed out during the summer to take Cragno back home. He's doing good so far, even played third violin in the 2022 WC. :)

Got 4-5 vets on 1y deals and signed two Czech wonderkids, but they're average at best so far.

My loanee striker from Arsenal is doing fantastic though.

Wtf... Pellegrini get upset and wants more playing time. I say sure, why not. You've played almost every game but whatever. He plays next game, gets injured. WC starts so we don't play a single game and he gets on and off injuries. Break ends, he still injured, we play ONE game in which he is unavailable to play in. After the game "WHY WAS MY PROMISE NOT KEPT!?!?!", not even a Trump fanatic can be that ignorant.

You can't just report things without having save game or screenshots to back it up. Tak! can do it if he wants to.

That problem existed long before the release and they never fixed it.

Sounds like a hazzle, something I am too lazy to do anything about but can easily continue to rant about. I might though, I'll see if I can do it tomorrow. I did check their forum to other day and it seems to me like they've given up on some things. Like people showing them issues, they say "yeah we know and we're trying to do something but kind of not because the simulation is still running". That was my feeling, as long as it ain't totally broke then don't fix it.

They're lazy since they have no competition whatsoever. My fave bit is when someone posted bunch of ss of WC strikers scoring goals at dreadful rate only to recieve reply like - we don't have that issue in our simulation, good bye.

Needed a break from Brescia and started a new save with Hungerford Town. Had no clue who or what they are/were but I liked their name and thought there logo looked cool.

Now I know they are suggested to end up relegated. So I need to sign some dudes but all my players contract are expiring and all in all, including youth players, my squad consists of 20 players (most below 20 of course). I have 0 transfer budget and 200euro per week left to spend on salaries. After signing staff members (there was none except for a player that was also a coach) I have minus euros left to spend.

@Gagi wtf?! what did you do to survive?

Freebies + loanees. I had 50-100 trialists every summer.. Filter free players and always check on the league's transfer rumours screen, some decent gems can be found there. With crappy WB in place, try to get average players to play for bonuses, sign better to part-time deals if possible. Ask for a parent club to get free loanees that would usually go to a tier above.

I simply don't know how a Juve fan can play with any team except Juve. :boh: I only managed PSG besides Juve because I have a soft spot for them.

Each year I have a save with Juve. I usually begin with a mid-table team and when I feel like I have a grip on the new FM and have seen up and comers through that save, I start with Juve. But I always get bored quite early with Juve, especially in recent years because there's not that much of a challenge to it. You don't even need to make an overhaul, you can plug and play and win everything each year anyway. In the past I tried to only sign Italian players but that's been underwhelming too recently. I've never been as low in the tiers as I am with Hungry chickens. Inspired by tracking Gagi this past year or two here. :)

@Gagi So I am now around 2k/w over my budget, but I can still sign players. The board isn't stopping me yet so I am still searching for wingers that can either dribble or run, so far those that can do one or the other won't join with the salary I can give (at best 300 per week). How concerned should I be about having depth in the squad? I have some that I can sell, if someone is willing to get them (I suppose not) they should give me about 1-2k combined. Will that get me anywhere? I am not used to dealing with pennies so I feel a bit lost.

Injuries can always happen, especially with unfit semi-pros, it's important to have depth. At least get some guys on non-contract. They don't moan much and you can kick them out anytime you want. Ask your DoF if you have one for an advice on freebies, it can help as well.

Nice, that's a really good idea and I'm grateful I asked and for your response as I was chasing the idea of cutting legs. That in hindsight does sound like a bad idea.
