Well, you know what I mean.

I probably shouldn't have put it in those terms. You can't blame him for his parents abandoning him.

Mario, if you are reading this, assuming that you know how to read, of course.

I apologize
I didn't think you were going down that road, but with the amount of bs on this topic going around these parts..

this forum is all about extremes, from he's an ok player with no potential to his the "ah" that comes after messi
You can say that again

One thing saying he has potential and that he is a very good prospect. But to compare him to Messi??!

Not taking anything away from Balotelli as i rate him very highly and think he can be the complete striker. But Messi??! Come on.

it's wordplay, be a little creative, will ya

and nobody could say that Balotelli is just an OK player...he is pure gold

Well you can't blame me, can ya? Worse things have been said on this forum :D

But no seriously, Balotelli is indeed an extremely talented player. Rather complete striker too.

I thought Ahmed was being sarcastic (mocking those praising him). But either way, I would only worry if he was serious, clearly not.

If you take a look at the timeline between Messi and Balotelli though, and take into account what they were able to acomplish between the ages of 17-19, it might not be as far fetched as you think.

I'm not saying that he is going to be the equal to or superior to Messi, but it wouldn't be a strecth to think that Balotelli could be the type of player whose name is mentioned among the Balon D'Or candidates for the next decade

Saying he will be a Ballon D'Or candidate and saying that he will be an equal player to Messi are two completely different things. I subscribe to the first notion, but definitely not to the second.
