Yes, and I don't mind that. If a player has a passport from a certain country, he's eligible to play for that country. I'm not against Amauri or Zarate playing for Italy if they hold an Italian passport.
Unlike those Azzurri fans who support everything Italian except Inter because "Inter aren't Italian, they are Argentinian". Well, guess what? By the logic of these people the Italian NT also won't be Italian with Rossi, Camoranesi, Zarate, Amauri, Thiago Motta etc. They should stop supporting the Italian NT because it won't be Italian. It will be South American.
So all of you hypocrites, say this: "I support all the Italians when they play in Europe or at the WC, except Inter and the Italian NT, because these two aren't Italian".
And start singing the Italian anthem in Spanish.
Oh, and the difference between Simunic and Amauri, Camo or Zarate is that for Simunic Croatia was the first choice. Simunic could always play for Australia if he wanted to.
