Those new staidums, and rebuilt stadiums that underwent drastic renovations is certainly a help to the Bundesliga.
Again, I hate to harp on the one common factor here, but its all about the money.

of course, anyone who thinks otherwise is ill-informed and naive
its also about revenue potential as well. these leagues have financial models and forecasts just like any other business and the better a league stands at turning out a revenue for an upcoming fiscal period, the more it will benefit those under its umbrella.

I agree,but still i was not against Kaka's move.maybe Milan will rebuild the team now with the money,who knows.
And i'm pretty sure it was Berlusconni and not Kaka's decision...i mean Kaka was alright with it,new place,new passion with new team,but IF they really wanted him to stay he would have stayed...maybe the financial situation there really sucks so much i dunno...

Money is definitely a big factor. Tradition also plays a part I think. I myself have never been to a country where football plays such a big part in society (economy even) than in Italy. (And yes I have been to Spain & Italy

And that is where teams that own their own stadiums have a distinct advantage.
THEY are the ones that control everything, and have the wherewithall to give the paying consumer an experience, one that will make them want to come back. Yes, in the end it is all about the product on the field, but if you walk into a staidum that has a great atmosphere, amenities that suit your needs, a feeling of safety and security, a REASON to want to come back, then you are much better off in the long run.

Seriously, I take a look at some of these Serie A stadiums, and I wouldn't even let a high school team play there, never mind a professional squad. Its jsut fucking dreadful

Isn't there some kind of agreement between Juve and the city of Turin however?
Something to do with the "land" where the stadium is built.
I think this was the case with Delle Alpi (agreement to rent for 100 years or something like that), and I have never seen any info about this concerning the new stadium.
