Thing is I don't really know what ali's manifesto was. He was just the alternative to blatter that's all but did he really have any policies? or how he would help rebuild the fifa brand? not that i ever recall reading.
His "manifesto" would be a hell of a lot more beneficial to the emerging football countries than Blatters. You should read up on him.

What's with those Palestine protesters? What's their biz with FIFA?

Ukraine never belonged to Russia and Putin's politics are as far away from USSR as it gets if that's what you implied. Putin is using the USSR symbolism while driving into the diametrically opposed direction politically.

As for the "he has no clue" part. Man you're so naive. He knows that the investigation was legit, he knows FIFA is corrupt, he knows he is corrupt himself. Everything Putin ever says in public serves the purpose of catering to the domestic propaganda and attracting the tinfoil hats of the Western world.
Here is the important thing in bold: Putin actually believes nothing of what he says on the media.
The Western society is full of tinfoil conspiracy theorists who actually condemn the evil Western empire and justify Russia's actions.
US Government: If you don't agree with us, you're conspiracy theorists!

Russian Government: If you don't agree with us, you're conspiracy theorists!

See what I did there? Take all of your governments and shove it.

Bingo
Too many ppl enslaved by propaganda. I am not familiar with your "everyday American" but I know that 9/10 Russians idolize Putin and fully believe that all evil comes from the West. During USSR age ppl used to laugh about the government behind its back and not believing a word. In my opinion Putin's use of religion make the difference. It's easier to manipulate people with DA GAWD. It's scary, really. Everytime an opposition politician gets assassinated it's "CIA trying to frame Putin. Let's pray for our president".
I'm not a psychologist. But it seems to me that people from former superstates want strong leaders. When you are in an actual superstate on the other hand you distrust the leadership, because they control everything.

And the USA never does this shit oh please they are the same like Russia. Only difference is that the world like the USA because they are depicted like "good guys" for decades now by the media.

It's textbook overcompensation.
Without going much into details, both Russia and the US are far from being angels (Russia moreso than the US), but mainstream western media does make a serious effort at times of putting the US, or the West into the best possible light, while Russia is demonized (case in point of course the Ukraine-crisis). As a result, some of the people who notice the discrepancy of the media's coverage, turn to the other extreme and completely overlook the massive flaws of Russia's policies/actions.

Maybe but it came to a point where Russia could probably nuke Warsaw and you would see people in Europe claim it's all Western World's fault.

Well yeah, they're nutjobs imo.

But you also got newspapers in Europe not even daring to report anything that might look bad for the new Ukranian government or the Western involvement in the case.
