sorry didn't watch the game but if he missed a one vs one again, the total would be 3. Nando is really good at hustling defenders and headers, which are very positive points but don't expect he buries 1v1 chances.
i wouldn't really call it a one on one, as he was forced to take the ball wide of the goalkeeper by then the defenders were set on the goal line

Yeh to be fair with him in THAT play he had no choice but totry to dribble past the keeper to the side, but then he got closed down.

It was harder than it seemed, but he had like one split second chance after he dodged the keeper to shoot. But well, his problems right now is not the wasted chances but the amount of mistakes he does with the ball at his feet. Lets hope he is on a slump. Tevez had one not so long ago when he looked frustrated to score

If last week and the week before were a long time ago.

It's like Llorente wanted to win people that bet against @Lion and then disappear. He's been bad for the last few games, very bad.
Don't agree

He has been playing fine recently. Not doing as well as a couple of months ago but still playing an important role in hold up and flick ons. Yesterday he didn't.

the thing he frustrates me most is how he gives the ball away in attacking areas, as if he isn't properly in sync with the players around him

He has the worst stamina/recovery of the entire team thanks to last season, and his posture.

He needs a rest, consider he plays all the time, and last season, not at all, its normal.

Problem is, he is so essential to us, we cant do without

Remember

good for you then

but bare in mind that you are going to have him for 5 years. No one will pay him 4.5 net... no one will pay him half of that after his first season in Italy.

he came here after a season off (to a new league when he spent his entire career in one league), had the hardest pre season trainings in his career, started the season on the bench, won us atleast 10 points with his goals (+ the games vs Milan and Napoli where he scored the opener), and when he came off form for a few games people immediatly start mocking about how bad he is and how he give away the ball too often...

he is just tired (playing as much as he does with his playing style, im surprised he didnt fall off earlier). remember how well he controled the ball earlier this season ? remember the great passes and assists he made ? remember how he always has a defender (or 2) carrying on his back and still can do the stuff he does ? people are quickly forgeting stuff after a few bad performances. and when he starts to play well again people will call him beast, what a player we got for 0€, Higuain who? etc. the same was with Tevez after he was off form and now people call him the best striker in the league, 9M , thank you Marotta etc.

He'll be even better next season. A whole season warming the bench messed him up good but he's showed that he has what it takes to be consistent.

Just out of curiosity,

say we had the opportunity to get Mandzukic but only by giving them Llorente as trade. Would you do it, what say the tuz?
