I'm not going to blame him for playing in a position that he clearly isn't fit for. The man has no pace or aggressive enough to do anything on a flank.
What I like to understand is what exactly his thought was for sticking around this season. He's going to be miserable here this season and has no real position assigned to him going forward. He's a yet another Rennes project max at this point.

Shouldn’t be anywhere near the first time. It’s ridiculous how poor he has become. Completely devoid of confidence. I get that he can only get confidence back by more game time, but a coach who is still finding his feet himself shouldnt be relying on him.
Give him the final 10-15 mins if we have a comfortable lead, but not as a starter ever again please.
