If the 343 is the magic formation and he does stay then yes i can only see that as his role in the team..back up for both wingbacks. A very poor man's zambrotta....as in turning zambrotta from a winger to a full back.

Funny how we once had so much talent we were able to trial players like zambrotta as a full back and turned him into one of the very best going around.
