Were should I start? ah forget it! :D

seriously, I see that quantity is getting the best of quality here. Yeah, I post mostly in the transfer thread and I see a big difference since last year let's say. If you look at the 1st page of the transfer section, half of the the threads shouldn't even be there. Threads like I want this guy, Kill Capello, football site promotion and 99% of my threads shouldn't even exist. :p

There's a sticky with all the rules in it but people don't give a rats ass and they are not taken care of.

Also the rep thing. I could post a million jokes and post naked pics of hot ladies and get all the rep in the world but that wouldn't make me a God here ya know. I don't really ming, I just check the little box. It's just that people tend to write things they wouldn't write if this option didn't exist.

Other new options can create some tension between members also but whatever... just my 2 cents.

sorry about my crappy English btw.

I fail to see the reason why there is a "thief" option in vBookie. I don't understand what good this function does to the forum.

Agreed. If anything, all it does is generate bad feelings.

For some reason it says I tried to steal some funds from another poster, however I seriously don't ever recall doing so. I never even looked at that function to be honest.

What you saw(I think) was an unsuccessful attemp by somebody to steal from you.

agreed that certain aspects of this forum only serve to add tension, for example the rep function is something that should be removed, its worthless and serves only as a pissing contest and a way for cliques to pat each other on the back.
the bank/thief/point function, what is the real purpose?
the arcade is a decent idea but takes attention away from the forum and distracts from posting

finally i was first to say it and i support jeeks for mod as he is probably the best person to unite the "old gaurd"with the new posters, i agree black mamba also as she has been a long term poster and commands respect, but i would also say tom or enron

it allows the richest people to screw the poor, anally. if i have 30,000 and you have 2000, i rob you for all your money, if i fail, i do it again, and again, until i succeed. I was guilty of this myself until mark77 pointed out it was a dick thing to do so i gave him 5x his cash back. im not rich anymore

Perhaps true, but I've learnt that talking is easy. :) I mean it's easy to say fix this and fix that but not wanting to do any work yourself. Not saying any of you are like that though.

I was just looking for confirmation if people are really interested in making an effort.
I for one was all pumped up and excited to offer a helping hand when you first came over. Idea's like Andy's player rating system and others seemed very encouraging. I would also agree that a more strict and firm moderating system is vital.

The habit of derailing threads and off-topic ( I am guilty of that also, hell I bet this post could be catogarized as off-toppic:p) should be stopped. But the problem seems to be that it has grown into Juventuz.com culture, only an iron fist and time would change that.

The issue of threads being derailed (which is probably about 10% my fault :D ) is something that's pretty hard to avoid on a forum, it'd be a hell of a job to clean up/keep going.

Thats why I said that this culture should be changed..Maybe an iron fist on this issue is not an answer..I mean if older members like you and me keep on derailing threads, we are setting an example for the newer members. If the more senior (and sensible) members stop that habit and actually critisize posters doing that, by time an unwritten rule will be written...derailing and offtopics will be frowned upon.
