Some nice suggestions thrown up here, but as Martin has said alot of that enthusiasm usually results in all talk an little/no action. I'm all for bringing this forum to the level it once was at, I've never said it before but I think this is as good a time as any to agree that the quality of the forum has detoriated somewhat, and its been ongoing for a long time now. If there's any way in which I could help out I will.

Oh and btw I like the suggestions to temporarily suspend forum functions such as vPlaza vBookie and the entire reputation system for a while just to get things into perspective; ultimately it is only the posting that matters and little else.

I read some of you where talking about changes of this forum and i wanted to say this: this new vbookie plaza should be deleted. I used to bet on those vbookie events, but now not anymore. I mean whats the point to bet if someone could always steal it. I do understand why refreshments where made, probably to make it more attractive, more popular, but it isnt that good imo.

It should be changed back to normal. You bet, you win and you win your money and thats it. I actually think if mods want vbookie thing to be popular, then this kind of change should be made: member has to have somekind of ammount of that vbookie money to make a new topic. This could help to avoid new members making topics like "will dp start today?" etc before they havent won that kind of ammount. Like forexample, new members will be given 100points, but a member has to have 1000 points to make a topic. This might help to avoide trash threads. Though again, some members might not care about that vbookie thing at all, because after all we have joined this forum to talk about football. And though some new members really are making rubish posts, every often some good members, with quality posts joins the forum but then he couldnt make a new thread before betting, though he actually had no idea about this when he joined the forum. So mabey its not that good idea.

i think the best way to choose a mod is poll...... i think that would be the best idea and ppl won't get any room to moan abt the chosen ones for the job.....

If new moderaters are implemented they must not be voted on in terms of a popularity contest. Its important to have moderators that even things out a bit and have been part of this forum for quite a while. Personally, Black Mamba and Paul have my vote.

I totally agree with this, all I see here is turning to another popularity contest too. I am all for voting for Paul, and also these names that I mentioned in the other thread Tom, Fliakis, Respaul, Dominic, Don bes, Nick (yeah, even if he is a Milanista), torkel, cronios..

As for Jeeks, he thinks I hate him, thou he knows very well that I don't, and also I sent him e-mail explaining him my problem with him. He also suggested me as a bookmaker, I have no clue what is he trying to do (A new start? ), since he is after me in every post with his "upsetter" attitude.

No offence, But I don't see him will make a good mod (now he will come with this "who asked your opinion" attitude).. I say that, because of his unwelcoming attitude with the new members , optimists fans, and the zlatan or Capello fans. He also disrespects the Juve players and the coaching stuff, not to mention the insults..

I suggested you as a moderator because you are informed on the subject and would add something by making a variety of bets, I am sure of thay. Don't think it is some kind of conspiracy I am making against you.

Repeating the name calling you constantly call me as a joke is not being after you. The "Upsetter" attitude is to create dub and reggae tunes, I don't know why people think of it otherwise, for more info on the subject google Lee 'Scratch' Perry and you know what The Upsetter is.

Goodbye Z, as far as i m concerned becoming a mod really changed you and made you an even better person,(carefull,fair,accurate)
but you lost smth as a member,(time mostly and some freedom to argue)
too bad too loose such a fearless quality poster with remarkable judgement...

But i can see this partition led to a new era,
many changes announced and a new hope for the future,
