No, he didn't. He owns the site and without him it wouldn't even exist anymore. But the spot of forum supremo so to speak, someone to set guidelines and make sure the forum is headed in the right direction, as far as I can see is not filled.
We are also suffering from a lack of oneliners since you left :)

I am sure that can be fixed but it will raise lots of controversy.

Well, I can't babysit forever, I did for a few years, then I'd had enough. It's too bad noone else wanted to take my place.
I know man, you did a great job then, and I understand the reasons why you left :coffee:

Yeah we need a new babysitter :p We've written up rules that people don't follow, and if we warn someone about breaking the rules people start saying it's not fair because others are doing it too. This place is full of babies.

Anyone up for a position of babysitter? ;)

The problem is that people have been here without rules or regulations for a long time, way before I even took over, people are used to doing whatever they want. Dramamic changes will create a riot.

But dramatic changes will create a better place in the long run. There might be a riot and many people might leave, but we are at the end of the season now, by the time the new season starts, you would have a much better place.

i don't think this place is in a bad shape...i have been the mod of kimi raikkonen official forum for 2 years and i wish i would have converted it into one like this one...

it was filled with stupid kids who think kimi is fit..:( before i resigned..

but i think this forum is cool the way it is...apart frm the behaviour of a few members..

I do nominate Rob as well for the position.
nah mate i have not got the patients for some of the half-wits

and besides you have the respect of many/most of the older members in this forum as well as the newcomers and you can bring a semblance of balance back
