Any difference between this on Xbox vs PS4?

XB1 comes with a free copy of Fallout 3 for when the new backwards compatibility comes out on November 12. Also XB1 has mods and as of now, there has been no word that PS4 will support mods on their version of Fallout 4.

I'm kinda curious about how this whole console mods thing is gonna work.

I mean, surely they won't just let you add any mod that you can on pc but a selected few. I've a feeling we will have very limited choices. Especially when it comes to mods that highly improves the world's graphics, I'm not sure consoles will be able to handle/they will allow consoles to have it.

Supposedly Bethesda is going to allow anything as long as its not nudity or content from other companies (like Big Boss from Metal Gear being modded into Fallout 4). I think these are only graphic mods and they don't actually change the way the game plays, so there is no concern about anything malicious that could harm the game.

Aside from the Mods coming out sooner on Xbox One, it also includes a copy of Fallout 3. This, and the mods, are the main reasons I bought it for the X1, especially if you can use the DLC from Fallout 3, as I bought all of them. I just hope that I can still access it on my Xbox Live account.

I bought the Fallout 4 Gold Bundle on Best Buy, it includes a copy of the Game, a Season Pass for all DLC, and socks.

I hope so. I'm just concerned that I won't be able to retrieve them any longer, since they were purchased on my 360 which I no longer own.

Xbo Live will know you purchased them if you are using the same Live account that you bought them on.

That's how it is supposed to work for any game or DLC that you bought digitally through the xbox live store.

if you physically purchased a disk then you will need that, so like, if you bought a game of the year edition where all the dlc was on the disk and you no longer have that then you will have to purchase it again. but if you bought the DLC as digital downloads then you should be fine.

What BC does is basically run a clone of the 360 software within your xbox one. So when you launch the app it will be just like booting up your 360. Go to the store within the 360 app and download any game you have already purchased (which have been made available for BC, around 100 will be ready at launch with more added over time) or pop the disk in and install it that way then download the dlc, etc. you shouldnt have to do much more than that.

At least thats how I understand it to work.

As hyped as I am for this, I have to say that I'd probably be even more hyped if Obsidian made another Fallout. Only because New Vegas was much more fun than 3 imo.

Not sure how you get it when it comes out if you have to D/L it specifically or if it will come preloaded to the dashboard.

The entire U/I is getting a rehaul based on Windows 10, I hear it is going to be pretty nice, but I haven't seen it myself. November 12 will be a pretty big Xbox One update.
