so canna is the solution to our defence problems according to you??? canna is the man that will make our defence solid??
sakho would be a dream. but it won't happen. mexes is experienced, young and wants to leave roma. he would be a very good solution for me. not the best, but very good.

you read funny things obviously ... there is no way that de rossi will leave roma (at least in the next few years)
on the other hand i would take de rossi over diego in a blink of an eye and play him with sissoko in the central midfield ...
now THAT would strenghten our defense ! i just remember a game where roma was raped heavily and the only reason it did not get over 5-0 was, because de rossi won more then 5 challenges in key situations where someone of the defense left their attacker run into the box with the ball ...
in my opinion the chiellini mexes pairing would not work out well, because none of them is a good defensive leader. from the heart chiellini would be a ideal leader, but there
are other characteristics that a defensive leader should have and those often come from experience he simply does not have ... we need someone calm.
mexes on the other hand has much more experience BUT he is very error prone when things around him don't go well. when roma got beaten by many goals it is often that he really has many situations where he does not really look good. you expect a good defender to battle against the opponent, when the others do not perform and not to turn into some clumsy boumsong

he didnt say canna was the solution, but that is the board's solution, so there isnt much point us arguing it.
when you say mexes is young it depends what you mean, he is 27 after all, to me he is nearly as much of a short term solution as canna.
sahko isnt a dream, personally he is more viable and realistic than mexes.

27 years old is one of the best ages for a defneder. he has 6-8 years of good football. Canna has 1 or 2. I said that sakho is a dream cause bordeaux will ask a fortune for him. On the other hand if Mexes wants to leave, the negotiations will be easier.
Del out????? If Cassano comes i am sure he will fight with everybody here. He is a good player but he wants to be the centre of the universe. It will be a big gamble...

I think that we will first sign Cassano and then, IF we have any money left and IF Werder cant find find a better offer and IF Secco doesnt screw up again, we might sign Diego too, a far more realistic chance than Ribery or Silva.
If Elkann comes, Cassano will come with certainty, i believe that we are bringing Canna instead of the defenders we need, only to raise enough funds and negotiating attention to secure Cassano. Just like we did with Amauri last year.
I dont see Cassano as a possible Neddy successor and i dont see us changing a formation either, no matter if CR stays or Conte takes over.
Cassano will replace DP and we will need someone to fill Neddy's shoes,
if can afford a proper player like Diego, he will.
Otherwise we will buy another "Poulsen" and Giovinco will...
