Diego is more or less done.
So were Alonso and Aquilani...
If Werder wants to get a better offer, Secco has only one answer, he will withdraw his offer, or try a bigger bid. Thats what he did in the past in similar situation. And he rarely ever gets the approval to come back with a bigger bid.
We need patience, persistence and experience to finish this deal,
so far we have shown none of this in the transfer market...
I just fear cassano...all of us know what kind of peep he is.
He is unstable. Can explode anytime. And in Juventus he will seriously pressed with resutls and pressed by the other champions who will not want to lose a spot over him.
He will get frustrated or bored eventually and he will start partying like in the old times in madrid.
Not to mention his trademark outburst in training.
Formidable player, but he is not serious in what he does.
and cronios btw.. why u say that elkann will bring cassano no matter what?.
Diego is almost on the way..and cassano talks has been frozen from some time now.
He cant handle competition, no DP and no Giovinco, not even Iaquinta to threaten his spot.

Because they love him...

I'm not saying that the Diego deal can't fail, but it's uncomparable to Alonso and Aquilani. This time it looks 100 times more serious than with those two. With Alonso it was always reported how Liverpool are waiting for Barry before they sell and how we can't come up with a mutual agreement about the price, while with Aquilani it was never serious at first place.

The Italian media today, all the newspapers and TV stations, say that the deal is done between Juve and Werder. Didn't you check todays' news?
Gazzetta dello sport even has a title "It's done deal. Diego to Juve". 25m eur to werder and 3.5m per year to Diego.

Or you still think that the Diego deal might be screwed up?
Even our director confirmed publicly that it's almost done. When he was asked about Gigi he said that Gigi will stay and we're proving to Buffon how we're serious about next year by aquiring champions like Diego. Those are Gigli's words from today's interview. There was even a video posted somewhere in the forum.
If wasnt checking today's news, i wouldnt doubt that this deal will be completed.
But it seems that Werder wants to wait for more bids and i ve seen that before:shifty:

So, i dont trust enough Secco and consider this a done deal, he always finds a way to ruin it, when he is under pressure...

I sure hope that having the wills of the player and his father, with us, will be a decisive factor though!!

We did? Are you sure about that?
Gazzetta, among others, says so:

Blanc e Secco sono volati a Brema e nella notte hanno trovato l'accordo per l'acquisto del brasiliano, corteggiato anche dal Bayern: club vanno 25 milioni e al giocatore 3,5 milioni per cinque anni.

It says that the deal is done with Werder. Blanc and Secco were there last night. The mutual agreement was found and 25m eur goes to Werder while 3.5m a year to Diego.

Allofs said that they haven't reached an agreement yet.We solely reached an agreement with the player so far,the rest is pure speculation.
Well he couldn't have said anything else before the UEFA Cup match.
Tomorrow we'll know more.

Cronios, you could be proven right at the end (although i doubt it in this case), but this is a perfect example how negative you are. Always. :p
I m not saying that we dont! Dont jinx it!!!:xfinger:
But i wont believe it, until i see it, i ve always thought that this will be a loooong mercato story, before it finally becomes true. A few thousands post must be wrote first and a few hundreds of newspaper pages must be sold first.

Its just too good to be true, to get him already. I ve always saying that he is our best realistic hope and that means i believe it can happen.
Thats why i consider it realistic:alen:
