Get some more. I am interested to find out. If it's possible.

For now I'm off to study. PACE.
Emerson also did fantastic on his return and so did Francesco Coco . Zambrotta also returned as a much better player

But then you have Vieri, Crespo, Gattuso, Materazzi etc, who came back from Spain/England as much better/better players.

The difference is that some of them left Italy when they were young and returned back also when they were young. Coincidently or not, those young guys are the positive examples while Shevchenko and Emerson (the oldies, like Cannavaro) are the exact opposite.

Cassano's issues in Real was ALL him, not due to bad performances, but for being an uncomprimising dumbass who was too busy munching on paellas and making cracks about Mr Hat then bothering to come to training, for months. In the rare occasions he actually played, he was rather good.

His unprofessional behaviour there though was absolutely shocking. He was "reborn" as an individual in Samp, not as a player, realised he cant keep pissing away his career.

Interesting. I think every season someone somewhere is making a great Serie A comeback. Must be pizza sauce in the water.

Oh. That project. We have many mini projects along that line, except the name of the club and player changes every time. However, whereas the clubs and players may be variables, the one constant is that the players and clubs vying for these players always remains mediocre.

What I find interesting in this whole move is that we are signing Italy's captain, and it is seen as a bad move. I wonder if this scenario has ever happened before? The title alone suggests quality, but the underlying issues of his age and history go against him.
