MADRID, Spain -- Real Madrid have denied reports they have agreed to sell Spanish international right back Michel Salgado to Juventus during the summer transfer window.
The speculation started after Real signed defender Sergio Ramos from Sevilla for 27 million euros four years ago and the announcement that they have secured the return of Argentine defender Ezequiel Garay.
"We would like to make it clear that we are not considering selling Salgado to another team," said a Real spokesman.
Salgado, who will be 34 in October, joined Real from Celta Vigo in 1999 and is under contract to the club until 2010.
