Overall can say England looked like the more likely to score another one all game long, today they actually deserved it unlike on other occasions, however still annoying to see them qualify late on like this again though…
This match should have been 1 1 though

Imagine Southgate of all people is the first English coach in history to make them a truly relevant side
On paper he's underrated in his last four tournaments he has finished, semi, final, quarters and now a final. That's pretty good going for an England manager. I remember him saying a while back that England had to learn from the likes of Italy Spain and Germany. Seems like they learnt alright. They didn't even turn up and won. That said, they've been lucky in 3 out of 4 of these tournaments, lucky with the teams they met up to at least quarters or semis. And again, they got extremely lucky with the pen. Somethings not right here

It would be great. It would perfectly represent today's football.
He’s the first coach in history to take them to two consecutive finals, tells everything you need to know how overrated the English national team has been historically.

They might have invented football (or so they say), but they surely couldnt play it until recently. And I still think they’re a far cry away from the best German, Italian and French teams through out the years.

Yeah, I also got respect for him being the first coach in Englands history to give them a serious track record. Speaks levels how far behind they are compared to Germany, Italy, France and Spain.

That was a great finish by Watkins. Well played Ollie.
My bro was screaming for him to come on for Kane after 60. The game suited him, he stretches defences. Kane atm can't do that and looked a bit dead.

Proper old school strikers finish rolling the defender and then through the legs. He's been doing a lot of that for Villa.

Was a close and very poor second half but bit of quality decided it. I think England edged it really.

Yeah he is really old school power and speed striker, veey direct finesse shot. There were calls by fans maybe he should start. But Kane is needed for the build up. But yeah after 60 mins he usually drifts out of games.
