they do look strong and stable and nowhere near as naive as in previous years, not sure why most here are dismissing them so lightly, especially considering how average this Italian generation is. Is the ItalJuve connection the only culprit here?

Portugal to thrash the Czech. If there is an upset that's likely, then it is Greece beating the Germans by a goal or on penalties.

You're in for a surprise my friend. The knockout matches between big teams never count on the form book. Also personally, for me, I think Italy and England are perfectly pitted because they are the two most out of sorts teams from the biggies. And I think England have found a decent balance which will start buidling their form in the tournament, while Italy are all over themselves. It'll be done in 90 minutes.

Haha. Very strong gut here. I'm not going to be calm with either result come Sunday. Jubilant, hitting on random chicks with beer in hand and my best smile if Italy make it through or sitting by the sea in my girlfriends arms in tears if they don't.
