Brought the result upon themselves by basically playing into Croatia's hands and allowing numerous crosses to be sent into the box. Often you'd have Giaccherini or Maggio playing too narrow allowing a bit of time for a wide player to get in. Croatia did well to double up in those areas.

Also not impressed by how impatient it all felt when Croatia were told to push forward and press. There was a lot of attempts for the hollywood pass instead of playing it more calmly like the first half. We've seen that happen to Juventus though, arrogance after a first half lead.

It definitely feels like Maggio is on a different wavelength to his teammates.
I didn't follow him much in the league but he's been a total disaster thus far. Giac doesn't seem to know what he role is in the team.

ok fine, so lets win vs Ireland.... Remember last time we played them... dominated the game and lost 2-0 Balotelli and Cassano need to start scoring NOW!
If Prandelli starts with the same team and sits back again after going up I dont think Italy will beat us maybe a draw at best.

Same as when you say "we" or "us" for Juve.
Just a team you follow in Sport.so you consider yourself as a "fan" part of of it.again AS A FAN.
Also, consider this, I like to see Italy play well and win (only because of the Juve players involved). So when Ireland (my country) play Italy and I post on here 'we' or 'us', by your logic will you have trouble understanding who I support?

Is there a time when the Azzurri fail to win and they do't complain about a robbery? Juve is an Italian team, yet in 4/5 failures to win we don't blame the ref. With the Azzurri it's always the ref.

I think Italy will win against Ireland but it won't be convincing...I don't know with Italy anymore because they showed that they can go with the best but then crumble and sit back. Once the other team scores they crumble. Perhaps going a goal down is better for Italy rather than a goal up....Prandelli cannot sit back like that, horrible choice. He also waited too long to make his last sub. Balotelli cannot start next game, I don't really want Di Natale either but I guess it is all we have. De Rossi will be in the midfield which will help us.

Equality of points after the group matches

If two or more teams are equal on points on completion of the group matches, the
following criteria are applied, in the order given, to determine the rankings:

a) higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the
teams in question;
b) superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in
question;
c) higher number of goals scored in the group matches played among the teams
in question;
d) higher number of goals scored away from home in the group matches played
among the teams in question;
e) if, after applying criteria a) to d) to several teams, two or more teams still have
an equal ranking, the criteria a) to d) will be reapplied to determine the ranking 7
of these teams. If this procedure does not lead to a decision, criteria f) to j)
apply;
f) superior goal difference in all group matches;
g) higher number of goals scored in all group matches;
h) higher number of goals scored away from home in all group matches;
i) fair play ranking in all group matches;
j) drawing of lots.
-------------------

So, yes, if Spain wins tonight, preferably 3:0 or more, a 2:2 between Spain and Croatia will mean that Italy's out.

Italy is indeed like juve
Missing changes and concede stupidly draw more games then they win.

Great midfield and defense and average attack
