Hehehe, what a nice game of Germany, and what nice goal from Wagner, hehe 4-0 without any sweat whatsoever.

The Krauts dont allways impress, but damn they do mean bussiness and are effective. Similar thing in U-17 and U-19 euros I saw them win (both against Italy), and now they win U-21 too, you never count out ze krauts.

Currently the Germans are u-17, u-19 and u-21 champions.

Looks like this tactic with ze fake germans is working for them. These guys don't have German parents, at least most of them, but they came through the german youth schools, they were raised in Germany, they have the german mentality and the African/Balkan talent for football.

Looks like the future is bright for the German football.

Btw, 4:0 will be a new record of the finals.
England

Ozil deserves the applause. Great talent.
Great talent indeed, silky mofo, been nice seeing him in Werder (when watching for Diego), allways quite excellent box to box midfield that made their midfield click.

On behalf of the people of Scotland, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Germany for, once again, beating England in a major finals.

Germany were just so much clever than England.

England are just strong and hard working. Germany are tactically astute and excellent on the counter attack.

Btw, is, according to you, Germany or Italy the best european football nation in history? I'm talking national senior teams only, not club football.

The italians won 4 world cups and 1 euro. They lost 2 world cup finals and 1 Euro.
The Germans won 3 world cups and 3 EURO's . They lost 4 world cup finals and 3 EURO's.

So Italy played 6 world cup finals (won 4) while Germany played 7 world cup finals (won 3)
Italy played 2 EURO finals (won 1) while Germany played 6 EURO finals (won 3)

Also, the Germans made at least the semifinal of the world cup 11 times, while the Italians made at least the semi 8 times.
The Germans made at least the semifinal of the EURO 7 times, while the Italians 4 times.

Apart from one more world cup won for Italy (which counts a loooot), the Germans are better in everything else.
So who is better historically?

IMO not only Europe, but when you talk about consistency, as in going far and consitently being on the top, in EVERY SINGLE DECADE since the 50s, the Germans are unrivalled in football history. Every decade the were in euro or WC final, no kidding, its ridicolous. Its another thing they lost many of them, but being there means ALOT IMO, its really ridicolous consistently on the top you can be.
