Pure robbery. Disgrace, as Drogba was screaming to the cameras.
The better team was eliminated. Chelsea gave Barcelona a lesson of how football should be played, but the referee decided to take things in his own hands. I don't think he was favoring Barcelona on purpose, but he completely lost it out there and he was surely too afraid to do the right things. The world saw the 2 penalties, he saw them, didn't give them.

Chelsea will blame the referee, and they have the right to do it, but they can blame themselves too. They played very nonchalantly in front of Barca's goal and Hiddink made a mega mistake to replace Drogba right after Barca were left with 3 defenders.

In any case, Chelsea have shown that they are the more mature team, better organized, and overall not inferior at all to Barcelona. They kept a clean sheet at Nou Camp, they didn't allow a single shot on target for 93 minutes, but one mistake and out they are.

Chelsea were robbed of the place they deserved. Barcelona were gifted a CL final. No two ways about it. That's what happened. Chelsea stopped Barcelona, but the referee stopped Chelsea.

In the final Manchester's job is a lot easier now that Abidal, Alves and probably Marquez won't play.

I feel sorry for Chelsea. They are one of the best 2 teams in Europe, but one man decided to rob them of a final.

I can't congratulate Barcelona. They were outplayed and even humiliated at times. Hopefully the Barca fans saw that their team is far from what they make the others believe.

Two disgusting teams in the final now. I choose the more disgusting one. I will cheer for Manchester. After tonight Barcelona don't deserve my support in any way possible.

how were they gifted? that red card should have never happened, which egs into question the only non call fo the night the pique handball.

chelsea were so disgusting today with their dives and anti-football, granted barca didnt play well but to say that chelsea was robbed is straw clutching

On a more serious note, Alvez has absolutely nothing on Douglas Maicon. He's like a Chihuaua puppy and Maicon is a full grown Rottweiler.

Dany Alvez is like the defected version of the retarded clone of Douglas Maicon and above that a 10 ton weight fell on him when he was 7 years old.

Geez, that red card did nothing but back fire on Chelsea. Barcelona were simply not affected by the loss of a player, on the other hand Chelsea didn't know how to take advantage of it.

He has never had anything on Maicon, even before this match. :agree:

Barcelona deserved to qualify to the Final. No question.

Chelsea lost too many chances after Barca went one man down, it's their fault. You either finish the game or you'll concede. It's like this most of the times.

Chelsea looked dead with Anelka chewing the ball and Essien coming down the middle trying to finish also himself.

Barcelona kept believing and playing till the last second. It's part of the game.

I would have wanted Chelsea to qualify because they eliminated Juve, but I admire this mentality "play till the last second".... my style. And Barcelona played it till the end.

Hiddink fucked up by subbing Drogba for Belletti.

As if this wasn't known from the beginning.

Antares, give me a break please. The robbery couldn't have been more clear. The red card was clean as a tear and not giving the penalties was as scandalous as it gets.
Barcelona were outplayed in every possible way tonight. Season-wise, yes, Barcelona deserved to be where they are, but against Chelsea in 180 minutes, nope, not at all. The better team of the two was eliminated by the referee.

first of all, I'm glad chelsea are out because they really showed themselves to be a bunch of classless cunts, Hiddink aside. Drogba, Ballack in particular. true blights on football. Drogba had a great opportunity, did very well, but fucked up the finish, and spent the rest of the match being a big fucking hulk of a cunt.
I think the real story is that everyone is a classless jackass given the right circumstances (not everyone, but broadly speaking a lot of people, know what I mean?). And this kind of finger pointing doesn't really inform very much, because all it does is assert that tonight Drogba and Ballack were put in that position, but if it were Barcelona instead then don't try to tell me the shoe wouldn't be on the other foot. There would be a couple players on the other team doing the same thing when you're about to lose out on a final that you almost made.

This is a story you're telling yourself. You have a certain belief and you're looking for evidence to reinforce it. You're not doing this in any way objectively.

    Not true at all.

Correct me if i'm wrong but Chelsea is the only team since the CL started up till now, where bitching in every single game. The whole 90min they spend on the field they're bitching to the ref more than playing the ball.

Juventus vs Chelsea was the perfect example, they enjoy putting pressure on the ref, running behind him till the end of the whistle.

    That's not a football.

There was something I wanted to say but it has no meaning at all anymore. When I say that Barcelona are chokers I do mean that they are. To have one single shot on goal IS the definition of choking and in another galaxy that single shot wouldn't have existed.

Barcelona VERY rarely win undeservedly and tonight was one of those times.

Over and out. No more Barcelona talk from me.

So what did Chelsea do at Nou Camp to earn the title "deservedly through over 180 minutes"? They made a mockery out of their club, that's what they did. They have bought every single player in the starting eleven for a massive sum of money and all that it adds up to is a bus parked in their own penalty box.

Furthermore they have 30% ball possession on their own home field. Sure, their defensive game is perfect and they created more chances, and this way of playing should be appealing to a calcio fan like myself but I can't help but find this fact nothing but disgusting. The Iniesta goal was a victory for football. A final between Chelsea and Man U is just wrong on so many levels.
