in retrospect theres no doubt in my mind we should have gotten him instead of poulsen

Liverpool didn't want to sell if we didn't pay 20m, or they didn't wanna sell at all until they buy Barry, and we didn't want to pay so much or we didn't even have the money. We were willing to give some 14-15m but not more.

The ballerina fucked us up. She didn't want to leave. If we had 14-15m and if we sold her for some 7-8m, we could have done much better than Alonso or Poulsen.
