Or when he played the mighty Barcelona last year.

You mean against Porto and Porto were the team who finished above Wengers' team in the group stages.

But you had promised not to reveal your Anti-Barca wishes. I'm vulnerable to it.
Thats because we didnt take the return tie in Portugal seriously. We played Randall and Ramsey in that game for fucks sake.

When we took them seriously we beat them 4-0.

We all knew Porto were beatable so there's no point in bringing that result up.

There are those who seem to think Barca are unbeatable however, which they are clearly not.
:agree:
If a defence like Betis' can hold them back imagine what Chelsea, Liverpool or Manchester could do.

Barca haven't really been tested.

I don't know why it didn't hit me that strongly until just now. But the song for the Champions League is really, really gay.

It's true though that Barcelona, as amazing as they play this year (even Arsenal, Manchester and Real in their best seasons weren't so dominant as Barca are now), haven't been tested against an opposition that defends very well and is still capable to score a lot of goals against any team.

That makes the potential Chelsea-Barca semi even more attractive.

If Essien is fit then he might just prove the difference between the two teams.

Fact remains that beating teams like Bayern, Lyon (however off form they may be) in such a manner is admirable to say the least. I cannot think of any team that would have done to those teams what Barca did to them.
