Rooney's last minute winner may just be the most crucial goal of this semi as I have to be honest, I cannot see Milan beating Manu cos of 2 main reasons. They have a very useless goal keeper and Ronaldo cannot play for Milan as the other strikers are sub par on this level. A fit Inzaghi maybe but Gilardino is very poor, he cannot hold up play at all, his touch is piss poor and he cannot evade defenders, lets not even get into his diving.
I started a thread here, beware the curse of man united, when was the last time anyone saw gatusso leave the field of play injured? My only surprise is that Kaka was fit to play but there is still time for him to pick up an injury before 2nd leg
I know the whole world was loking at ronaldo and kaka but my mom was scholes as kaka was good in first half but not so good in second
Gatusso would have won it if he played thruout, his replacement brocchi was very poor as was Pirlo and Ambrosini. Jankuloski sucks big time as a defender but i was very impressed with oddo defensively. Nesta was Milan's most consistent player on the night.
I was amazed by 2 things last night, firstly why ronaldo was not moved to the right to face jankulowski and why milan after not really attacking in the second half, decide to attack in the dying moments of the match then brocchi plays a silly ball and of cos jankulowski was nowhere to be found and they lose a goal that might just see them knocked out

I can't blame Gila as much as i can blame ancelotti. Kaka last night was the only producer upfront and thats only for 45min, Seedorf was pretty useless and couldn't deliver the ball upfront to Gila, same goes with Pirlo.

I think the only solution would be playing with two forwards in the 2nd leg and not one, replace Ambrosini with Inzaghi and push one of Seedorf or Pirlo to the back. Some might not think that Milan should take a risk, but thats football, you dont take a risk you dont eat them they'll finish on you.

Milan are a disgusting club and even though I admire their football, everytime I see them lose gives me an orgasm. Priceless!
I read some of your posts asking some members to grow up and stop calling Inter binter? and now you're calling Milan disgusting just because they're Juve's rivals? very nice....

Anyway, I don't think Milan is disgusting, a club with their history record and with finest players passing through san siro i wouldnt really call them disgusting. They're a great club with a great football and no one can deny that.

Mark is to Milan what Badass and Turk are to Inter. The only thing is that he respects them enough to call them by their name:p
and the funny thing is that he keep on making fun of them for calling inter names, yet he's doing that but with milan.

As a Juve fan, i really respect milan as an opponent and rival, though i dont feel the same towards Inter...Milan are class, inter are not.

Milan will win the second because:
1. Uniteds away from home in Europe has just been awful. The Lille game deserved a better faith and they were the worse team in Rome.

2. Milan got nothing to set sights on except the CL trophy. United are fighting for the tripple but quite frankly they don't have the depth to do so. English teams fight for 90 minutes every game they say, that gotta take some juice.

3. Evra misses the next game, which puts Heinze on the left. If Ferdinand get back, they will have a somewhat organized centre pair. Though I don't see Brown and Vidic working out. I just hope both doesn't get back, that could very give Serie A the final kick in the crotch.

4. Milan has proved very good at striking from behind.

5. Routine: 4 CL semi's in the last 5 years. Including 2 finals with one win.

Wishful thinking maybe.

Vidic is out for the season.Manchester United will probably shape up like this at the back :

Neville-Ferdinand-Brown-Heinze

Its not exactly a rock solid defense,as Ferdinand can be very erratic at times, and Brown isnt the greatest defender in the world. But its still a better back 4 than they had in the first leg IMO.
