Capello gets reprieve
Thursday 8 March, 2007

Spanish Radio Cadena Cope reported on Thursday that President Ramon Calderon has not yet fired Capello only because this would cost him £11m due to a clause in the former Juve Coach’s contract.
11 m contract clause !! damn capello is a shrewd businessman or Real madrid were blindfolded when they signed the contracts.
He should quit football coaching and need to switch to players'agent business because he can milked well a fat club.

And Navarro to get Mike Tyson.
Ouch, poor Mike!
Ahh Capello :pint:
I think you mean "Haha capello! Serves him right for deserting us!
so what were the headlines in spain and italy newspapers today.
something like
"David Navarro knocks Inter out of Europe"
:p
Or "Navarro puts inter out of Europe with a knockout punch!"
Inter President Massimo Moratti believes the Nerazzurri are the sole victims of the brawl which took place at Valencia on Tuesday.

Oh when, oh when are the men in white coats going to cart him off to the funny farm?

But Burdisso chose to retaliate. Poulsen played dirty against Milan but Kaka did not react. It's not unusual for Marchena to provoke players with his play. Reminds me of the classic Zizou-Matrix exchange of words
:agree: And welcome back ZhiXin!
Inter with Moratti will never be wrong. They always find someone or something to be blame. :disagree:
The moratti's moaning minnie mob = inter.
You're right D.Nico! that's one of the reasons they cannot win something that has not been "fixed". They will not accept responsibility for their own errors, and, because of this, they are incapable of learning from their mistakes.

I am not 1 to be throwing insutls at Inter and their owner and i have always advocated against doing that here but for the owner of the club to come out with all these stupid statements like they are somehow the victims is just madness. He ought to be totally ashamed of his club, not only have they gone out at the second round but now for the umpteenth time they have dragged football's name through the mud with their inability to lose gallantly. I am not even sure why UEFA is saying they would investigate, whats there to investigate, Inter should be banned for at least 3 years for continually flaunting rules of winning and losing
It's for this reason we do slag them off! They behave like complete morons, instead of a gentlemanly & sportsmanlike manner. I agree they should be banned! Both Valencia & inter should be banned for a minimum of 5 years & the players involved should be individually banned in such a way that they cannot play in Euro competitions even if they transfer to another club!

to be honest denco, i think they wont be banned. they wil pay a fine like last time but banned i doubt it. i mean they got away with there fans throwing flares on dida and they actually got the guys arm burned.

i hope th enew uefa board would take things into its hands this time, or else it would'nt be the last incident involving inter. inter already has a black record when it comes to voilent behaviour during and after a mathc this incident is'nt new. we have witnessed recoba for exampe assult a refree who was about to show him the red card.

putting that a side we witnessed eearlier this season how viera assulted one of manicini assistants. inter are not sore losers but have no sportsman ship what so ever.
:agree: moratti will probably bribe inter out of getting a ban. I wish Uefa would take action if he does & double their original ban. Their fans are only second to Roma as the worst, but what do you expect when inter's owner, staff & players behave the way they do. They are not good role models to their fans.

Bayern weren't the better side

Both teams played good football(n yes, Real played good football last night). Each team had its own style(Bayern with the counter attacks n Real with the build up attacks)
On the contrary, Real were a mere example on how can football be practised randomly in their match against Bayern, in my opinion.

Bayern were lucky they got that very fast goal in the game due to a mistake from Carlos. If they didn't it would've taken alot more effort to score imo.

anyway about madrid , thats what Sacchi said and i agree
"However, I think even the greatest coach, in an environment with a lot of arrogance and superficiality, would not have been able to produce a spectacular and winning football team.

"To make a team it's not just important to have technical abilities, but to somehow create chemistry between the various people, to form a group."

madrid's problems are far bigger than capello imo, even the new players are effected by this "sickness" of just thinking about themselves and not the team.

Chelsea vs Bayern final??

It would be an excellent encounter, actually that is my wish also., still remembering their duels 2 years ago when they played two excellent matches Chelsea winning 4-2 in London and Bayern winning 3-2 in Munich.

I hope Chelsea will thrash Milan and Bayern kicking out Manchester United before the grand Final....
