thats so true, even there fans are like this. they blame things on others except themselves. its pathetic really.
europoli next?

corriere dello sports claim that due to the bust up with the valencia players, guido rossi is to make a return to football and take over the uefa presidency, so soon after the recent appointment of platini who has caused so much uproar with his new reforms a vote of no confidence has been put in place. With guido rossi soon to take charge it is expected that he will seriously deal with valencia and roumer has it he will even go to the extent of banishing valencia from all european football for 2 seasons, plus replacing them in their runners up spot with inter from the 2000/01 edition of the champions league.

i just wana say i fancy my chances on psv this year, i was told that every time a james bond film has been released a dutch team has won a european cup, although the most recent one was in 2006 it was more in the fall of 2006 to 2007 so i sumhow got a funny feeling psv will be at least the dark horses, if not then sum dutch team will win the uefa cup

Capello gets reprieve
Thursday 8 March, 2007

Fabio Capello will remain in charge of Real Madrid at least until Saturday’s big match with Barcelona.

The Blancos were knocked out of the Champions League on Wednesday by Bayern Munich, aggravating Capello’s position, as the Merengues have won just one of their last six Liga matches.

Capello has been heavily criticised by the club’s supporters and the media and Saturday's match with Barca is even more important after both clubs’ European exits.

“At the moment, Capello continues on the bench and will be in charge against Barcelona,” sporting director Predrag Mijatovic told Canal Plus.

“The Bayern defeat is a very tough blow for us, we were not expecting this,” continued the former Fiorentina striker.

“I am worried because there are certain things that are hard to understand. A team that is not good has eliminated us, but we need to get over that disappointment. :wallbang: (WTF? And you are good??)

“Now, we must focus on the game against Barcelona and then we will come a time for analysis and reflection.”

Real Madrid had won the first leg in Spain, but Roy Makaay scored the quickest goal in the competition's history, after only 11 seconds, a fact which Mijatovic considers unacceptable.

“We made a gift of the first goal and that is something you can’t afford to do at this level,” he stormed.

“That goal means that we were not concentrating enough from the very start. The season is not over with this or Saturday’s game, but it’s a really tough break.”

Spanish Radio Cadena Cope reported on Thursday that President Ramon Calderon has not yet fired Capello only because this would cost him £11m due to a clause in the former Juve Coach’s contract.

I am not 1 to be throwing insutls at Inter and their owner and i have always advocated against doing that here but for the owner of the club to come out with all these stupid statements like they are somehow the victims is just madness. He ought to be totally ashamed of his club, not only have they gone out at the second round but now for the umpteenth time they have dragged football's name through the mud with their inability to lose gallantly. I am not even sure why UEFA is saying they would investigate, whats there to investigate, Inter should be banned for at least 3 years for continually flaunting rules of winning and losing

:lol2: Capello has tried to lie to all the people who watched the match, he claimed that Bayern weren't the better side, hence, he meant that his team was better, I find that this is truely pathetic.

Even though, I have to admit that Capello has tricked Real Madrid and I have to say loudly "Guys, hats off please for Don Capello". He'd decided to join Madrid in the summer and insisted on that firing him would cost Madrid £11m due to a clause in the former Juve Coach’s contract, indeed he played the game perfectly. :eyebrows:

Now, the situation is; Madrid suffer for the fourth successive season, Calderon must save the club's reputaion and to calm the fans down and Capello has been doing his plan well.

Doesn't this man deserve some praise? :pint:  :D

Real's defence really sucked last night! they are to blamed for the 2 goals
That's their norm.

I despise Real Madrid's arrogance
Me as well.

to be honest denco, i think they wont be banned. they wil pay a fine like last time but banned i doubt it. i mean they got away with there fans throwing flares on dida and they actually got the guys arm burned.

i hope th enew uefa board would take things into its hands this time, or else it would'nt be the last incident involving inter. inter already has a black record when it comes to voilent behaviour during and after a mathc this incident is'nt new. we have witnessed recoba for exampe assult a refree who was about to show him the red card.

putting that a side we witnessed eearlier this season how viera assulted one of manicini assistants. inter are not sore losers but have no sportsman ship what so ever.

Who wants to laugh at Berlusconi today:D :

“After Inter, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal all crashed out, we are the favourites to win Champions League, as we’ve got a better tradition of all the other teams still competing”...

What tradition?? Getting the old people??

    Bayern weren't the better side

Both teams played good football(n yes, Real played good football last night). Each team had its own style(Bayern with the counter attacks n Real with the build up attacks)

He is correct.Milan, alongside Liverpool are the most decorated team left. And btw,Predrag Mijatovic said that Bayern werent a good team, not Capello.
mijatovic is a complete pr*ck anyways never liked him since his dubious winner against juve in the cl finals nearly 10 years ago, if he truely believes madrid are a good team, then messina are their gods
