If Roma succeed to defeat ManUtd in the Olympico, they may pass to the Semi final provided that they apply the Catenaccio in Old Trafford. It is simple but it works in most cases. :smoke:

Guys, there is something I want to say, first I was hesitant, maybe because we have no relation with the whole issue right now but I'm saying it. When I'd seen the result of the draw without Juve, I became a little bit gutted and depressed.

I hope we'll be in our right place in Europe within one season from now. Dreams and hopes make the life far better. Forza Juve forever.

yeah, but the whole competition is just crap this year
I have to concur with this analogy as none of the teams left currently stand out and apart from Man united and possibly Roma , all the teams have had pretty average to poor seasons by their standards. Big possibility of 3 English teams in the semis and there will be no end of best league in the world tripe that people like Richard keys spew out on a regular basis. Incredible that Milan, Liverpool, Chelsea, PSV and Bayern stand the chance of getting to semi finals with their current teams

In my opinion Man Utd should go trough easiliy, Liverpool will have problems with PSV but they are going trough too, Chelsea will also have a close game but with Terry in defence they should go trough, only encouter I'm not too much sure is Milan - Bayern but if Bayern continue to play in good form and Milan continue to struck in every game than Bayern is going trough. But as we know this is CL a tournament full of suprises...

But I do think that Liverpool, Chelsea and Bayern have strong squads. Despite the fact that the three teams are very inconsistent this season.

Liverpool and Bayern with a strong squad? Do not make me laugh. At best Gerrard, Garcia (on his good days), Carragher, Alonso and Kuyt are of international class. The rest will struggle to get into any decent side. Bayern have a good first team, nothing special and noone at all thats remotely creative, just efficient , honest players. Chelsea have shown you take away Terry and Cech and the defence is struggling badly, all the midfielders apart from Robben seem to be similar and only Drogba showing any form in the striking department. Its not about names, its what form theyare currently showing and lets face it without booboo by Porto's goal keeper, chelsea might have been out by now

Chelsea will win the CL if they avoid Man United. They'll get their revenge over Liverpool if they draw them and I think they're better than Valencia, Roma, Milan and Bayern alltogether.

Chelsea is the safest bet of the quarter finals

Does football depend just on names? No, it is a combination between players, their harmony and tactics used. I see all these factors in Liverpool and their sane tactician Benitez who knows how to deal with big events.

Regarding Chelsea, I know that Mourinho hasn't got choices in the back line since the departure of William Gallas, who can play either as a centre back or a right one. At the same time, he didn't strengthen the defence like he did to his midfield line. But I disagree with you about Chelsea's midfield, whom I see the best in Europe right now; the foremost consistent defensive midfield in England and Europe as well, lots of choices and able to attack from both flanks and from the centre with the same efficiency as well.

I'm hoping Spalletti's men performe the same way they did against man utd. Or else If man utd qualify to the semi, I think I'll vomit.

I sincerely hope this will not be the final. It would be a re-run from 2005 and I can´t stand Milan, I hope they go out of CL asap.
