Nah, VDV is the slowest attacker I have seen in the prem. When you watch him live, and I mean not on sky, you just see him not move at all, and when he does, he takes so long to get going.

Now lack of pace would be ok, if you had great vision, and can pick a pass, but he cant.
I'm going to echo Patrick's statement here, are you sure your talking about VDV. If he doesn't have vision and can't pick a pass then i don't know who can

For me he is one of the most technical players in the PL.

Mancini has Tevez and Tevez is better than Van Persie.
I don't agree, especially not the current Tevez.

Fuck yeah he is. An on form Tevez is the best player in the Premier League.
If we're talking about an on form Tevez of 2-3 years ago, then ya, i guess you could make a case for him being better than the rapist. The current Tevez has lost a lot of his sharpness, and has definitely lost a yard or two of his pace.

Van persie is a cunt, end of.

Yeh, the one from 2-3 years ago. He has been good so far this season, he's getting slowly back to his best.

@Fred, you think the PL will be a better watch than last season (barring Arsenal probably :D)?
I think so, yes.

Chelsea have a better squad this year than last. Swansea seem to be doing quite well with Laudrup and have an even more dynamic playing style than last season. Everton are better than they were at the start of last season. Teams like QPR have built a completely different team than last season. Pool have a new manager, a new playing style and will be interesting to watch this season. Even United with Kagawa and the judas rapist are a lot stronger,at least in attack, than last year.
