Nah, VDV is the slowest attacker I have seen in the prem. When you watch him live, and I mean not on sky, you just see him not move at all, and when he does, he takes so long to get going.

Now lack of pace would be ok, if you had great vision, and can pick a pass, but he cant.

Yes. he has an eye for goal, but you want more than that from a number 10.

You may not agree, but this is 2 Spurs managers that have not picked him now, and he seems to be sold after a certain period at his last few clubs.

Good player, but you need an extra midfielder in the team, to support this type of player.

With Dembele and Sigursdsen, they have 2 much more mobile players, that can break much quicker, as AVB likes to play like that, hence getting rid of Dawson. Good defender, but very slow in posession, and not really able to turn defence into attacke very quickly.
