Should've, would've, could've.
Aren't... understanding... the... premise.

In terms of opportunity cost, it makes more sense to give Diego another chance instead of selling him for a net 10M loss. Chances are he would improve, meaning we could have recouped even more of his transfer fee if we still intended to sell him.

It's simple cause and effect. Diego was the cause, 4-3-3 was the effect. Ferrara was just the executioner. He played what everyone wanted him to play and by everyone I mean most of all you.
So despite Ferrara claiming he wanted to use the 4-3-1-2 before Diego arrived, Diego not only caused the system to be implemented, but its eventual failure.

Dude... forget high school, did you even graduate middle school?

Scapegoating. Stop it.

No, just immature, unreasonable thinking. Read the edit:

Hypotetical situation; Buck or Chester or anyone say Lukaku is better than Rossi. I'm supposed to laugh at them because Lukaku is Belgian? Or should I look at it the reasonable way; they've seen Lukaku play a 100 times more than me, since I obviously don't watch the Belgian league, so maybe they know something I don't. It's a safe bet we've both saw Rossi for Villareal the same number of times and have the same knowledge of him. But not, they're Belgian, they must be biased about Belgian players.
I think you've proven enough that whatever comparable player to Modric is discussed, you'll choose Modric. That's fine, but you don't act like you aren't biased as hell.

:howler:

What else do you know about me that I don't know?

Shame really.
I didn't say it was particularly you but it's been mentioned many times that whatever Vlatko says about Modric is wrong because he is biased towards him.

That was the case couple of years ago, that is the case now. That's why I'll never let this go. When all this started I was ridiculed even though I had in-depth knowledge of Modric and just as good knowledge of Diego as everyone else, only they knew very little of Modric. But I was Croat so I'm obviously wrong.

Well maybe Andy is biased talking about American players so he thinks that what you say about Modric must be automatically wrong too :D

Some of his hold-up play tonight was outstanding.

He'd just sort of wander past three challenges while waiting for support.

Man City were very poor, even if they were solid enough at the back.

I thought Vidic and Fletcher were very good.

If Man Utd had really wanted to win that game, they probably would have.

Yep.

Fellow fan of the bulgarian demigod? :D
As a neutral he's great to watch, as a fan of Manchester United I'd be frustrated at times.

Manure dropping more points.:weee:

Pool, i was expecting that from them, typical. Nice win for Chelsea although Essien's sending off will cost them dearly imo.

Fact 1; Diego gone, 10m gone with him. Spin it any way you want, nothing will change it.
Fact 2; He was brought precisely for that formation and for that style o play. He FAILED. End of. Everyone accepted it, so should you. You're trying to make it look like Diego was the victim of his own style of play. FFS, you're not making sense at all.

Keep the petty insults to yourself, brat.

No, that opinion is only held by you because you're a sad little man or you're just bitter because your country is filled with talentless football players and any talent that's found there goes to play for another country. I'm praising Modric because he is a fantastic player, I never praised any of our other players so much. You need to get over yourself and accept the fact Modric>Diego had nothing to do with bias but common sense.

Edwin Van Der Sar bitching about Citeh's defensive approach & saying they only needed more time to break them down.:howler:

Is four minutes extra time not enough?
