Watching Liverpool - Chelsea and realizing how well Aurellio played.

he really did well, glad he's back! kuyt though....while there's no denying how effective he is at shutting down the opposing fullback, he just doesn't offer anywhere near enough in attack! right now with him and arbeloa, we have a decent fullback who can attack and defend, while not being brilliant at either, and a "winger" who basically is like having a fullback who can neither cross, dribble, shoot, and is slow up on the right side. Riera hasn't been quite as good as his early season form, but he's a smart player, and works pretty well with aurelio.

He won't. He'll be gone, come next summer.

I do like him though, and if it were up to me, i'd keep him, but would he be ok sitting on the bench? As i personally do not see a place for him in the starting XI.

On a more positive note, i can't wait for next season. With Edu, Theo and Cesc coming back, all we need to do is add a centerback and a defensive mid. This looks sexy

----------------------------Almunia------------

------Sagna----------Toure------centerback??----Clichy

-----------------------Cesc---------Matuidi---

------Walcott--------------------------------------Nasri

-------------------Arshavin------Van Persie

Our bench would consist of, Wilshere, Ramsey, Denilson, Vela, Adebayor and Eduardo
You know as I know that half of them players want be there if you miss out on Champions League.

True that, he was your best player that day imo.

the operative word being "if";)

No really, now with Arshavin on our team, i feel more confident of catching Aston Villa, but first we must, and i repeat must beat the Spuds.

And yet again The Premiership beats their own record for most transfer money spent in the January Transfer Window. Good Job! Inflate the market!
Spurs spent about 35m to re-sign players that they sold for virtually the same amount over the 18 months.

They really are a remarkably stupid club.

Poor first half in the Liverpool - Everton game. Its just tackles flying in from every direction. Hoping for a better second half.

An even worst second half.

i know i shouldnt have expected better. But really, with the quality of players on display, one can't help but be optimistic.

the first yellow on Lucas was crap, and the fact that piennaar didn't even get a tackle for stamping on lucas' foot is a disgrace! of course, our turn to be unlucky one might say, but this game's been pretty even, so losing a player makes a huge difference.
