Didn't look too good though today, that formation. you have to have good wingers for it to work well.
We didn't exactly play a 4-4-2 today. Benayoun took Gerrard's position when he came off and when Lucas came off we went to a 4-4-1.

I think we would be fine with Yossi and Riera on the wings and Babel and Torres or Kuyt and Torres up top.

I meant before Lucas got sent off. you guys had Riera on the left, the jew on the right and Torres-Kuyt upfront.

For a bit. It seemed to me that Benayoun never stayed on the right, Kuyt didn't stay up top and Riera thought he was a central midfielder. So much for that formation. Time to go to the 3-4-3, our once yearly goal glut.

Take Ronaldo out of Man Utd and they won't be title challengers, take Cesc out of Arsenal and they'll do a "Milan". Take Messi out of Barca, and they'd be as good as a one legged man in an arse kicking competition.

Liverpool are no different, so i dont know why your trying to make it sound like they are the only ones.

Did you see Barca's games against Racing and Getafe?

If not, then thats why you disagree.
One swollow does not make a summer.

Like all teams that have a great player in them, they become used to relying on that player, but Barca would soon adapt and carry on winning without him. Not to say they would be as great but pretty damn great.

thats a baseless assumption. they've looked as toothless as a 1 year old kid in those two games Messi didn't play in.
