The Premier League have revealed a new logo to be used from the 2016/17 season.

The design sees the Premier League move away from title sponsorship, which is currently Barclays, and will be known as 'the Premier League' from the start of the next season, rather than the 'Barclays Premier League'.

Premier League managing director Richard Masters said: "From next season, we will move away from title sponsorship and the competition will be known simply as the Premier League, a decision which provided the opportunity to consider how we wanted to present ourselves as an organisation and competition.

"We are very pleased with the outcome: a visual identity which is relevant, modern and flexible that will help us celebrate everyone that makes the Premier League.

"We look forward to sharing more details of our new positioning in the coming months."

The change represents the Premier League's first visual rebrand since 2006.

Same as Spurs TBH. Yeah they might have a few very interesting players, but I can't ever see them being good enough to go on a good run in the CL.
Why?

A good defense, great team organization, hard working, incredible stamina, creates chances with limited risk.

I'd say they would have a decent shot in CL. They do lack CL-experience tho.

Well yeah, exactly...the PL is making so much money there comes a point where they stop taking the piss out of the bread and butter fans who will go to every game and make prices reasonable. The product isn't worth that kind of money, they can put any kind of glitter or shine on it, it's polishing a turd.

Next step will be shipping in thousands of Chinese tourists to fill the grounds. Fans who go now aren't the hardcore, the ones who it really matters to, it's now a day out, a mark of prestige that you went to a wonderful PL game at Anfield, the home of legends bla bla... marketing rubbish. So what happens is that generation of old fans dies out and you end up with the shit atmospheres creating by the day trippers filling their places.

He's right about Jordan Henderson though, dear fucking god where did his career come from to be made captain of Liverpool?
Of course he's right, it's just so hilarious that i watched it 5 times already.

Btw, did you guys see Zouma's injury? Will miss Euros most probably. My knee hurts after watching this.

Spurs are going in the right direction and they seem to have a good project at the moment. They have made good signigns under Pochettino and they have a clear identity to their play unlike many other PL teams. Wouldn't be surprised if they'd do well in the CL.

Decent shot at what exactly? They might negotiate the group stages, but that is about as far as they will go, unless they get a Dynamo Kiev or Monaco in the round of 16.
