But the CMs? Theirs are quite limited, Yaya is surely a goner for City in summer, not easy to find playmaking CMs right now (besides Gundogan).

Thats a type of style that works when you have a better team. And especially a highly superior midfield in controll,technique and passing. This will be a huge issue at city

Pretty sure in the defence obsolete england, he would put even more goals then he does in spain, with all that space to exploit.


To stop messi, you need perfect controll of space. Wich is probably the worst thing about the EPL

City will have a better team with their resources , what they lack is proper coaching and team building. Also De Bruyne and Silva will take care of the creative burden as AMs. But they need a CM in that mould plus DM. Gundogan and someone else for Busquets / Xabi role. Shouldn't be hard to attract those types with their coach and money.

Yup just Pep being there will be a pull factor in itself unfortunately, i can totally see a period of domination coming up.
