The problem has never been their athleticism, on the contrary your typical English player usually isn't short of physical abilities. Their problem is technique and a lack of football intelligence.

Bayern would have the best German talent around. There is plenty to choose from, same with the Spanish. Even the Italian would still build competitive and decent enough teams. England would die.

You can have all the money in the world but your league is soulless and has no identity when you rely on nothing but foreign talent.
