By the way Verratti (who, as I know, is not going to come anywhere near us this summer) could become brazy marketable with us. The Facebook generation got the benefit of our pushing of Pirlo as OUR star and not Milan's. I have trouble even picturing him in a Milan jersey. All the hashtags, the videos and everything. Portraying Verratti as the 'New Pirlo' and things like that would see us rake in the merchandishing.

Not so sure about this, simply based on looks. Pirlo looks majestic as fuck :D

And James can defend?
I don't think either are particular good at defending. Ultimately though James has considerably more potential, and even at their current levels, James is just a better offensive player. Assuming both are liabilities defensively, James is just a much stronger player in terms of technical ability and vision. He is also more versatile in the sense that he can play effectively in a wide position, centrally, or as a secondary striker. While not ideal, he was even serviceable under Ancelotti as a CM.

You're right about that - Verratti doesn't have the shiny pornstar appeal that Pirlo and Pogba have. We could change that image though for sure.

All he needs is a catchphrase hashtag.

By the way who will be our 'South American Champion'?

Higgers? James?

Well clearly James is marketable as ****. I just returned from Colombia, he is the king there. No other player is relevant except for a few hipsters that like Cuadrado.

If we got James & Cuadrado, we'd have a monopoly on almost 50 million people.

that's a good deal for Dortmund
That's a horrible deal for Dortmund. I wonder how Schürrle could again generate this kind of money after having disappointed season after season. The last time he actually delivered was years ago in Mainz. He was quite mediocre in Leverkusen, he was worse in Chelsea and he was absolute shit in Wolfsburg... He was criticized by everybody last season, even the Wolfsburg bosses.

Lol just ****ing on German players today.

Actually though, who else is overrated. Often this generation of Germans is hyped pretty aggressively. Who isn't as good as the hype, and who is?
