Lol just ****ing on German players today.

Actually though, who else is overrated. Often this generation of Germans is hyped pretty aggressively. Who isn't as good as the hype, and who is?
Well there are quite a few good ones. But certainly not Schürrle :D
Tell me who you know as a hyped player and I will gladly give you my take on it - if I have actually seen the player. The real question is why do people here say good deal for Dortmund? Based off of what? Because if they had seen him play the last years, in particular last season, they wouldn't say such things.

Well clearly James is marketable as ****. I just returned from Colombia, he is the king there. No other player is relevant except for a few hipsters that like Cuadrado.

If we got James & Cuadrado, we'd have a monopoly on almost 50 million people.
And people don't want Chicharito :disagree:

What's your take on Godge? Hummels too I'd like to know about.

And actually Khedira, too. How did you feel when we signed him?

Godge? I assume you mean Götze. Well, when he played for Dortmund he was an elite talent, he was - in my eyes - the biggest Talent in Bundesliga. He was the kind of player that could decide games. Consistently. At his age. He was never a world beater when it came to speed, but he could take any defender 1v1 and beat him. He had vision, passing skills and even scored quite regularly. Since joining Bayern, nothing really was the same. The injuries and not being in his comfort zone really took a toll on him. Most of the time when playing for Bayern he just disappeared. He became more unathletic (don't want to say fat because he obviously is still a Professional Athlete) and slow. He just regressed. Of course he still has the technique, but he has had no impact on the game most of the time. He couldn't beat defenders 1v1, didn't score... I don't know if he will ever get back to the form of his Dortmund days, but he definitely failed at Bayern. He seems to me like a sensitive guy, maybe the change of scenery will help him. I don't think Juve would have been the right place for him though.
Hummels... He is an elite defender in every sense. He has vision, passing ability, good header, wins a lot of duels and sometimes even scores. The only thing you could say is that in the last 2 seasons, while having a few injuries, his level of concentration dropped a little. You could see it when we played them in CL, he had 1 or 2 blunders. He was usually not the guy for those kind of mistakes. That was more for Subotic. Before that horrible season Hummels was consistent as a rock. Seeing him boss it (except for that stupid penalty) for the national team, I think he will be extremely motivated and valuable for Bayern. I actually think he will be better than Boateng.
Well and Khedira.. I really liked him as a player in Stuttgart. He was very good even back then and really deserved his transfer to Real. He was never really a flashy player but a very good and consistent one. So not really the kind of player the Real supporters rate. I was wondering back then how long that relationship would work out and I was very happy when the deal for him was announced, as I rate him very highly. If it wasn't for his injuries he would be irreplacable in our midfield.

Much of you won't agree with me, but I believe that our attack is just fine with Mandzukic, Dybala, Pjaca and Zaza. 94 mil is way too much for Higuain, and he is also 29 years old. Mandzukic may have dissapointed last season, but this one will surely be much better. He has been injured or not 100% fit for half a season, and most of his goals were crucial.
If we are going to spend large amount of money, it should be a world class DM.

'Just fine' attacks don't have a habit of winning CLs. And aside from the fact there's no World Class DM on the market, hell there's not that many out there, they don't cost anywhere near mega money. After all they are there to break up play, and distribute the ball to more technically gifted player.

Simply put, we need a match winner more than we do a defensive reinforcement for a team that concedes so few goals. Having said that we could probably get Matic + Higuain with the Pogba money should we sell him.

Best post I've read in a long time. Thanks!

Also yes, Godge was a joke because Cronios kept misspelling Goetze's name :D

If we dont?

I think Rakitic could be a very interesting aquisition for whoever gets him. A Khedira like move that doesnt make a lot of noise but a truly great player
khedira was a free agent. rakitic is contracted until 2019 and has a massive market value. we won't sign him, even if we sell pogba.
