Gomes is only 22, he's only going to get better. He's much more likely than pjanic who's already in his prime. Come on people, Marottas approach isn't that difficult to understand.
Gomes is 22-23, Pjanic is 25-26. not much difference yet it it clear who the better player is. If the choice was either of them for the same money id take Pjanic yet alone when the difference in asking price is 10-20M

if can even keep morata anda cuadrado we need to a good MF and a good forward(finisher) Regarding the dip in form or injury how long can they stay fit and consistent is another question we need to buy at least two top players for compete in the CL , at some point it's imaginable that we have to add a higher wage tier to keep our key players and plus get the key players for compete with top clubs at their level.

just straight swap
No we don't need anything if we keep this core. All we need is a bit of luck.

What's the difference?
Cuadrado would cost us about 25 mil, much more than what his probable replacement will cost...
Morata would cost us about 10-15 mil, while losing him would hand us 30 mil...

That's 70 mil right there. So I'd argue big investments are probably NOT happening if those stay. In the other situation; there's more room to play.

25 for Berardi, leaving 45 for a midfielder and a RB and that's not selling anyone or investing a penny we didn't gain by letting the both of them go.
Don't know about that...Cuadrado is a very valuable player. Replacing him would be expensive.
IMO an equivalent player goes for 30 million if not more considering in Cuadrado's situation, there are better conditions for him to be transferred.

If we're thinking closer to a RB: such as Danilo? at least 30 million
or a guy who can play RM/RW such as Candreva? at least 30 million.

Berardi? Berardi cannot replace Cuadrado. He is essentially a wide striker.

If Cuadrado costs 25 million, that is a no brainer. Pay the sum.

Cuadrado is definitely worth 25m, maybe even more. Prices have changed, inflation needs to be taken into account. Will be tough to find a player as good as Cuadrado for much less than 25m.

And in order to keep Morata we probably have to pay 25m-30m, rather than 10m-15m. Real has all the cards in the hand, they can afford the luxury of waiting out the Euros and what the PL will do with all their crazy spending power.

I can't even think of someone to replace Cuadrado as a player, certainly not for 25 mil. But that's not what I was saying.

I meant we certainly wouldn't invest that kind of money in what is essentially supposed to be a RB/RWB. At the very most we'd get a Darmian or Vrsaljko if we aren't capable of holding on to Cuadrado.

Juventus are thinking of Edinson Cavani, Christian Benteke, Romelu Lukaku and Gabriel Jesus should Alvaro Morata be sold.

The Spanish striker is an important option for Coach Max Allegri, but the possibilities of him leaving for Real Madrid are very real.

Paris Saint-Germain's Cavani is the most qualified option and the one that both staff and fans would be happiest with, but he is also by far the most expensive, coming with a price-tag of €40m and a yearly salary of €7-8m.

The Bianconeri may look for a reduction in that cost, as the player is now 29 years old and the long-term investment may not be entirely rewarding.

Otherwise, the Italian champions may turn to Everton's Lukaku or Liverpool's Benteke, though the former is also being sought after by giants Bayern Munich and Manchester United. Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez and Marseille's Michy Batshuayi also enjoy some interest.

Sassuolo's Domenico Berardi remains an option for €20-25m, and for the same price Juventus may gamble on 19-year-old Brazilian talent Gabriel Jesus, currently playing for Palmeiras.

Berardi? Pass
Moratta's replacement? Cavani is great! Lukaku might not be possible,Sanchez is great but impossible while Batshuai is the most likely...
Jesus dont know about him but for 40m Id pass..

Gomes his price tag is way too high
Pjanic stats and playing style is very possible
James? We wish...

This logic is the logic of AC Milan, not Juve management. Buy aging striker on mega wages? Sure!

Pass on biggest attacking talent in Italy? Who needs him!

Tbh Jesus was never gonna happen. The only chance of getting a promising Brazilian is when they're still somewhat "unknown". By now everybody knows sweet black baby Jesus, and yes, it's true his agent wants $40mil. So avatario or noo avatario no dealio would happenio.
:D

Id still lime to blame you and Fr3sh because everything fall appart when you got those avatars. Also, his agent wants 40M? Hes crazy
