I think Mark was talking about him a few days ago

5G9A so far, he already surpassed his production from last year (7G4A). Imagine what he'll do in our team :tuttosport:
And he'll get another 4-5 goals/assists till seasons end

then a 20 assists season with us next year :gigi:

6 months later, Saponara scores the goal in extra time that knocks out barcelona, and everyone is praising Marotta again.

Oh yeah, cause thats sadly how every season will come up.

Big complaints for media suggested top players till what we actually got is totally wrecking it
It is true...even in XT. The transfer season makes many of us go crazy when Marotta doesn't bring in the 5 big names he talks about in the media then when we make it to the CL final suddenly every transfer is hailed and he is a genius.

This summer I would to see less rumours and Marotta not being so open about his transfer plans. I don't mind him coming out and stating he wants an attacking midfielder to link the midfield and forwards...or a RB and a midfielder of good quality who can play consistently without being injured all the time. But the need for him to come out with big names like isco, cavani etc...that isn't needed. 10 plus years ago we had no idea who was joining juve...we just waited for it to happen and moggi would deliver the goods. That is all we need from Marotta...less talking to media and more smart deals. Note, i think he has done some brilliant business over the years.

Sorry, when has Marotta ever said we were after Isco, Cavani etc? It's always the media who runs with this narrative. Marotta only ever says generic comments like "we are looking to improve the squad with quality players" etc etc.

i can sadly already see how this summer will come up, big hopes and dreams for top players running till august and in those last 2 weeks to transfer window end with no big name signing and people starting to get desperate comes Mark's report that Oscar who had been bashed all summer by 95% of the forum (who were hoping for Isco/Goetze) is close. Mark's %s rises and is sure we are def signing him. Usual Beppe keeps being hard handed and won't give in to Chelsea's demands. Deadline day gurus bring news deal is done and the dancing gifs appear for 50 pages (someone link me to the gifs of dancing in the Draxler thread  ) and then 1hr to transfer deadline end comes news that its Saponara for 10m + 5m in performance related bonuses, and Beppe showing up the next day with "Oscar? we were never in talks for him, Saponara has shown he fits into our DNA blah blah blah" and then follows the storm in the forum.
so sad and so true. :sigh:

Bad news on Mkhitaryan's deal: Dortmund will increase his salary to 7.5M per year (from ~ 4 currently). They plan to keep Micki longer...

What a player :tuttosport:

Hope :beppe: brings him in
Having a great italian AM would be simply magnificent :tuttosport:

Would be a 10/10 mercato regardless of what else happens

:agree:

This season should be even more difficult to get a top player with all those teams flexing their wallets buying anything that moves. If we missed out on players before for disagreements on money, it will be much more difficult later on.
