I have to admit I had similar thoughts yesterday.

Yes he's still young and has plenty of time until he reaches his prime, but at this point I don't think he'll get to that level that some here are touting him as. I think he'll be just as good for us as Dybala was, take from that what you will.

Well, Dybala used to be pretty awesome for us, so not turning out as good as him wouldn't be that surprising.

Here are some highlights from yesterday, obviously none of it worked out, but exactly how many times Amauri did provide killer crosses like at 0:12 or freed himself up with neat footwork like at 1:30? even in a bad game like yesterday it should be apparent that skill wise this guy is many levels above trees like Amauri.
