Well Tevez yes

Gonzalo wasn't better than Napoli and even he said he played completely different.
He may not have been better than he was in his final season at Napoli (that was a record breaking season iirc) but he was immense in his first season here. Better than any of his other seasons at Napoli (or even Real). His second season wasn’t good, but he also came back overweight and unfit that pre-season.
(Dybala was great with Max as well. At least his first three seasons)

Yes

What attacking player has flourished under him?
Well Tevez yes

Other than 1 freakish season with Napoli, he had his highest scoring season of his career here, in 16/17

Dybala also clearly had his best years under Allegri.

but that was all Max 1.0

But what is his strength? Waiting for his teammates to create and then he scores easy tap in?
This kind of striker belong to the past. Name any ST in top clubs that play like that.
Other big dudes like Giroud, Haaland, Lewa, or even Darwin Nunez are involved in everything.
So either he improves or sell
He needs to play on the last defender, he is a modern striker. He needs space, Allegri plays strikers more like old school 9s. He isn't that.

What about the assists? He had only 3 in his last Napoli season and like 15 in others. He changed the way he played under Sarri and probably lost a bit pace and outside play due to becoming overweight

Allegri 2.0 is the trashiest coach we have ever had but even he can't completely destroy talented and skilful players. Vlaho may be talented but it is one dimensional character and definitely not skilful.

Been defending him for two seasons due to my hatred for Allegri but there is no excuse for some of the crap Vlahovic is producing. Simply not good enough. Maybe his Fiorentina spell and transfer to Juve went to his head.

he'd need a more aggressive team to support him. put haaland in this dry team and he's a 20 goal striker instead of a 40 goal one

his first touch is still atrocious, and he tries too hard. he's not this bad though. i'd really want to see him in a more direct setup

He isn't, because he's a poacher. This system doesnt suit him at all. He's not like Higuain who was able to hold up play, keep the ball at his feet and play with his back to goal. Allegri's main philosophy is that the attackers should be left to their own devices, but Vlahovic isnt a creative or skillful player. He cant and shouldnt be expected to have to drop back to the midfield and have to wade his way through lines of players before he can see the goal. As long as this stupid philosophy persists, he will never succeed here.

There's things he does I just can't blame on Allegri or the team

There is not a pure poacher playing for any big team in Europe. He and Kean belong to second tier teams.
