We play terribly so you give him an excuse and it's valid. But you have to also think how can Di Maria perform but Vlahovic can't?

It seems he's just below that level of a match winner on his own. So for 100M you probably have to take it.
100? lol I would sell him instantly for anything above 70. They could run a Milik/Yildiz pair next season and I don’t think we’d notice much of a drop off tbh. And that’s not all on Vlahovic, but for his price point he needs to be better individually. He’s almost like the forward version of de ligt. Gimme that money and invest in wingers/wingbacks

Yeah. I thought he was more of a complete player, but apparently he is not. In that case we overpaid for him big time.

Shit on Allegri all you want, he isn't holding players back to do some individual brilliance, if they have it in them that its.

Still not sure about his groin injury which has bothered him since his transfer last year. Puts too much pressure on himself which can work both ways. Clearly we need both Vlahovic and Hojlund rather than continuing our hands tied policy.

I'd bet more on him being a complete player somewhere else. Allegri is a virus.
This. This incarnation of Allegri is a disaster. Vlahovic killed it at Viola in a team that had a lower “xGoals” than we did/do. He’s being isolated and expected to just do his thing. He gets very few touches and opportunities a game and that causes the pressure to be even more immense I would imagine.

Vlahovic is only just turned 23 and has a 21 goal and a 29 goal season to his name. He has 10 goals - 4 assists in 1800 minutes this season while battling injuries in a side that has underperformed badly in terms of creating chances. If he improves his first touch I could see him as a Lewandowski type striker going forward. Also, Lewandowski had a 9 goal season at 22-23 years old. We shouldn’t be in any rush to sell Vlahovic. Get our attacking trio of Chiesa-Vlahovic-Di Maria some continuity, and then replace the coach first.

Could be, but not sure anymore. Liked the signing, but he looks more and more like a classic 9 to me, and that's not what I expected/wanted.

Goals are everything for a forward, especially someone like dusan I'm willing to bet his confidence and therefore his performance depend a lot on that.

Now is it highly possible he's just that limited? Of course, but based on players performance with their NTs and players that of players who leave, im still willing to bet on this guy being the real deal.

Call me crazy but I still rate Vlahovic as someone who can be as good if not at least close to Haaland under the right guidance, allegri does nothing for attackers in this team, even Higuain and Costa were celebrating the arrival of Sarri. This team is utterly wasted on a tactical terrorist.

Haaland? Brah, he won’t even reach Higuain’s peak.

Besides Allegri being his coach, he’s a limited striker. Off ball positioning, link up play, heading and attitude are all way off.

None of these things were bad at Viola. His off-ball movement was great, his attitude fantastic. And his link-up play was not great, but it all wasn’t “way off”. Until we see how he performs under a “better” manager, or at least in a attack with a bit more continuity and organization, can’t really judge those things given they were all significantly better at Viola.

Carolina Stramare, Dusan #Vlahovic's partner, to 'TuttoSport': "This is a bad moment that probably should have come. He had already suffered from groin pain in the past but he doesn't even think about being outside. He always wants to give more because he's Serbian, he's tough. He cares a lot about #Juventus. I've always envied him in so many ways. I envy his concentration, his desire to get to the goal at work. He is very grateful of what he has achieved. Juventus want to keep it close”.

If he continues like this under another manager next year (provided it's not Sarri or Pirlo) then we should sell him. But for now I will give him the benefit of the doubt.
