They are good players when coached right. They both could be extremely good if managed right. Kostic is not really a magician he needs a team that knows how to position themselves in the attacking end and then his crossing/passess finds a teammate more often which converts to a chance.
Take Kostic games and you`ll see he does what he needs to do but his crossings are wastful since players just dont know what to do when going forward.
You can blame Kostic for being brainless but its much more reasonable to understand he is doing his best and the other players are just "avoiding" the ball for some reason.
