That doesn't make sense. If it's the way to god you should be excited. Or is there another shorter path?
Not everyone's a genius. Some can understand and find it easy, some because of the circumstances, and some have too little wisdom and search it the hard way (that be me in this category).

But I'm all about the journey not the destination.

Actually the shorter and easier paths are usually the false paths
Why so? If you skip the whole journey read the bible wouldn't that be a shortcut? I just can't take that leap of faith, maybe it's a right way but for me there is no journey nad the destination is too limited(jusct christian god is true)

He's never shown that in the past usually his laws are his laws.
Yes, but it doesn't really matter what you think, because we're talking about the testimony of a guy who says that god told him.

If you're wondering why I made up this scenario, in this story the skeptical you are me and the guy who saw god is you.

Well if one is not privy to certain things then yes I guess
Finally, our arguments reach a conclusion. Thank you.

Who knows man, I'm not arguing or trying to prove a scale by which you could measure credibility. I just said that religions that tend to die are not right, or the easiest path to god.
Argument from popularity? Really dude? Suppose you live for another 100 years, and within these years, Judaism, Christianity and Islam completely die out and Scientology is the dominant religion. Does it become the the right religion? :shifty:

From my and people around me experience.
So it's based on subjective personal experiences and not empirical evidence?

So you haven't found god yet? You just hope that he's there?

Well if I was that guy I would not kill because I would know that God wouldn't appear to me and tell me contrary to his law. So yes it does matter. That is how you tell if someone is of God or of the devil the fruits of their words/labors

If God wanted to make it easy he wouldn't of gave us free will and let us be slave believers. He wants our journey to grow is spiritually until we cone to him in full desire on our own will and volition

He could have just put that will and desire into us in the first place.

It wouldn't be God martin. I'm not speaking swahilli here. God is not contrary to his nature
So you can tell what is God based on what he says? But how do you know the basis then?

Those are rabbinical laws not Gods big difference. Why do you think when Jesus came he rallied against the temple and their hypocritical laws which they attributed to God
Really? The quotes I've read indicate the opposite.

“For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:18-19 RSV)

"It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17)
