So you haven't found god yet? You just hope that he's there?
It's more complicated then that :D

I have had some past expirience from which I know he is there, I'm still looking though. What I know for sure (yes shake, from my own personal(subjective) experience, wisodm and knowledge) is that science and what we can see and touch in this physical world only tells half of the story. The rest is still a mystery for me.

Also Andrea...

Exodus 32:27 (KJV)
27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.

This is god himself commanding the killing of brothers, companions(I presume wives) and his neighbours. You cannot escape from this one.

Really? The quotes I've read indicate the opposite.

“For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:18-19 RSV)

"It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17)
Meanwhile Jesus clamors against the money in the temple. Stops them from stoning a prostitute to death. " he among you without sin cast the first stone. " tells the Sanhedrin when they ask him about why he eats with sinners who do not keep kosher " worry not so ,much of what you put into you're mouth but of every utterance that comes forth from it. "

In the above when Jesus speaks of the law he speaks of himself. When Jesus was in the temple of his home town he read scripture from Isaiah about the law coming to fruition. He said " on this day the law has come before you. " reading scripture isn't like reading a book

What I find interesting is that people who "know" god is there at the same time are so clueless about everything they say they know. Why do you think that is?

It's like me saying I know there are aliens but I couldn't possibly tell you how I know, where they are, what they are like or anything relevant whatsoever. Interesting, no?

PS God also changed his ways after Noah and the rainbow. The old testament is a precursor only to show how we get to the point of salvation and full revelation in Jesus

Difference being that aliens are probably far away if they are aliens and no contact with them here at least. While god is everyhere, here included.

Look, all I said is that I know/believe there is god and think that the religions of man are only a way to him, nothing more nothing less. How is this small information everything?

How is that different? If god is here it should be far easier to get some good info on him.

So if I tell you I know there are aliens but I don't know anything about them, does that sound credible?

After the flood, he only said that he won't destroy mankind completely. He continues to kill afterwords.

Also, you're contradicting the Bible which says that god is unchanging!

Gonna say I do not know that answer to that as I am not God yet from my point of view no because they were not worshiping the one true God probably a demon or devil
Well that's unfair. They never had a chance to know Jehovah before the whiteys came along.
so all the aztec people now reside in hell. no wonder that religion died out.
They in heaven. Trust me I am expert.

Your picking and choosing biblical quotes mostly out of context and out of sorts to make your point seem valid yet if you would have studied the bible from front to back with concordance you would see what I'm saying
