But why would you need strengthening your beliefs if you already believe? With belief there is no middle ground oyu ether do or don't. So what's the point in challenging your beliefe just so you could win the argument, that seems like you want to strengten your position so you could believe not that you already believe, if you would wou wouldn't need to strengten it.

Because I'm not certain my beliefs are true. This is all a process of evolution of my beliefs. My fittest beliefs will survive, and my weakest shall perish.

And imho god is not a subject that should be approached with this attitude.

That's precisely why I get into such arguments: exposure to other attitudes. Once upon a time, I believed that god certainly does not exist. But that attitude changed after reading some of the arguments from the other side. If I find more acceptable attitudes during my endeavours, I shalt change.

I would expect that the earth would be absolutely littered with transitional fossil forms if evolution were completely correct, but it isn't.

There have been many finds of the Homo genus ancestry line, but if you go back to millions of years remember that you need ideal conditions to create a fossil. They are just waiting to be discovered.
