You're right. I'm incorrectly assuming that god is honest. Reading Genesis, god is always lying. He lies to Adam that he'll die if he ate the fruit. But Adam didn't die. He lies to the readers saying he created earth before creating light and stars. And he's not even omniscient, because he asks Adam "Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?". Shouldn't an omniscient being already know the answer to such questions? It throws doubt over the credibility of the rest of his revelations.

That's because god did not let Adam eat from the tree of life. But this raises a good question? Was Adam immortal before he ate from the tree of good and evil? And if so, then what's the point of the tree of life, and why was god relieved that Adam didn't eat from the tree of life and thus become immortal?

EDIT: Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

God says that Adam will die in the same day he eats from that tree. But he died after 9 centuries.

Because words have certain meanings. Earth is the planet we live on. Heaven is an imaginary place that's claimed to exist. If you are suggesting that these meanings are not right, then bestow unto me the dictionary of god.

But why would you need strengthening your beliefs if you already believe? With belief there is no middle ground oyu ether do or don't. So what's the point in challenging your beliefe just so you could win the argument, that seems like you want to strengten your position so you could believe in or the other way not that you already believe, if you would wou wouldn't need to strengten it.

And imho god is not a subject that should be approached with this atitude. Though that's just what I think, not gonna bring any scientific enstein paper to back it up if its actually true or not
