I still have not seen a compelling argument(actually i haven't seen any argument) for not allowing women to wear head scarves in sport.

An argument could be that it is a religious symbol and those shouldn't be a part of sport.

I haven't got a huge problem with women wearing headscarfs as long as it's their own choice to wear it.

Why? Religion is so mixed up with politics, that many people see religious symbols as a political statement.

Anyways I'm off to my in laws. Good friday!

Why can't I wear a sombrero if I play pro football? I don't see the difference between that and a hijab. Sombreros are of religious importance and of cultural and ritualistic significance because every time the team scores, they'd be able to run around it while shooting pistols in the air. Same exact thing as wearing hijabs.

If the hijabs are of different colors then there shouldn't be any problems, if we're talking strictly from a football perspective, politics and religion aside.

Seriously, playing football with hijabs. You guys are crazy. Where does it stop? Will the Scottish be allowed to wear kilts? Religion should be kept personal. Practice it in church or at home.
