from tuttojuve.com:

Diego?

Maybe Ranieri finaly won against Secco, he is not that submisive as someone here thinks. He stood firm for years against Diego, and i think he finaly won :D Now lets get silva!:ultra:

What excuse are you talking about, Yoda?
Thae funding of the stadium among others...
BTW do you think these rumors of buying those players, this thread mentions, are part of a conspiracy to discredit poor Secco, when he fails to accomplish them?

I cant believe how far some ppl may go, to victimize him...

And it's funny how people will look to criticise, regardless of what has happened.

What's your point?
And it also funny how people look to ignore the facts and hope for the best...
My point is, we should be objective and accept the truth without letting our hopes/dreams to bring bias into our logic!

No because unlike you I don't believe in conspiracies but ever since the Bosman we've been linked with a ridiculous amount of players and lately the naives use that as food to undermine Secco.

I am neither victimizing him nor making him a hero. You on the other hand :melayyanandmessi:

Ladies and Gentleman, apparently it's done for DAVID SILVA. as always, everyone's free to doubt and to bitch about it, but according to the guy who anticipated some transfers, we've found an agreement with the player and the club. Apparently, yesterday, silva's agent was in turin to finalize everything.

dispute starting in 3...2...1... :D

Jack, seems to me you have agreed on that:

I ve never accused Secco for not accomplishing a transfer that it has been as highly speculative, as these rumors here.
That would be insane!! I merely blame him for the ones that he actually did, for the logic behind them!
When ppl insists we had no other choices, i am forced to counter-argue that with confirmed transfer targets. When our officials openly and officially speak about them, they are confirmed transfer targets, or at least under consideration. I dont fill them with my own preferable targets or the presses presumptions as you accuse me, only to discredit me...

It would even be the biggest transfer since Amauri's arrival.
honestly i think david silva would be MUCH more of a sensational transfer than Amauri's... Not talking about the impact both players have/would have on our play and our team, but from a purely sensationalist's point of view, Silva's transfer is miles ahead of Amauri's.

I really consider silva one of the best wingers out there. Plus he's young but immensely experienced for that age. If this turns out to be true, i think secco should get a nobel price or something :D
Let's hope for the best. I don't really know how reliable the source is. he did indeed anticipate various transfers like Emerson's, poulsen's, amauri's but then again, he also proclaimed xabi would have been a done deal... that's why we should start partying too early :D

Still, i think there is a chance this is happening. It would make sense that we close the deal early on, because valencia's financial troubles are obvious and secco would have closed the deal before the bidding starts... But it's useless talking about it anyway. let's wait for an official statement; i hope they announce it somehow even if there's not a transfer window at the moment.

I read somewhere that Silva would cost 25 million euros 'cash' and another 5 million depending on performaces. He would earn 4.5 million a year on a 5 year contract

I know, I'm just a fan of Amauri;) While Ribery would have been perfect for us, I have my doubts over Silva's acclimatization, but really hope he can bear Nedved's successor title for long. IF that's true.
