first of all, i think there is already a topic about him
and i don't get how people can FORCE certain players into our system... Diego is NOT (!!) a LM or something. He's a pure AM, maybe he can be turned into a more CAM but he plays in the CENTRE. There's no way we can fit diego, xabi AND sissoko with 2 forwards. We NEED a RM and a LM. otherwise we'd be left with 3-man-defense in the back, and then we're lost.

dude you're funny... sissoko as a LM??? you've got to be kidding me. Why do you so desperately want to force certain players into our team??? This is ridiculous. IF diego should come (which is pretty much impossible) then we'll play with 1 striker. Just like that:

in the end i think it's exactly what is going to happen. contract 'til 2011 i think... there's no room for negotiations. let's make him know our interests, try out xabi, and then after one year we can evaluate our situation; Do we need a more attacking midfielder? How well did xabi alonso do? what happened to diego (remember he was pretty badly injured for some time)? how good is giovinco? do we have the cash for him?
I'd love to see him in juve because he's one hell of a player, but getting him now is just impossible - he's tactic-wise not really needed (we need a defender MUCH more), he's expensive as hell and we're probably going to sign xabi.
Diego won't move away this year, i'm pretty conviced, except if real go nuts because they don't get CR, but even then, i doubt it
